Your role
As an engineer at VIBES, you will work as part of the project team in Munich on demanding projects in the automotive industry at companies like BMW, Hyundai, Volvo and many others. You visit our customers and carry out measurement campaigns and data analyses together, present your results and develop new solutions with our in-house software packages in the area of NVH and transfer path analysis. In addition to the project work, you will actively participate in the further development of the software by contributing your own ideas and implementation suggestions.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?
• Master's degree in engineering, preferably specialized in acoustics;
• Very good mathematical knowledge in the areas of linear algebra and Fourier analysis;
• You can perform complex calculations using MATLAB;
• You create structured scripts for your calculations;
• Experience with measuring equipment and measuring software (PAK, Artemis, Testlab) is desired;
• Experience with experimental dynamics, modal and/or frequency analysis a plus;
• At least fluency in English to support customers around the world and preferably German too;
• You live in Germany and if not close to Munich you are willing and able to relocate;
• You possess a valid work permit to work in Germany.


What will you do in this role?
• You will work together in a project team to carry out demanding projects in the automotive industry in the field of NVH and transfer path analysis;
• You work with the best data acquisition hardware and state-of-the-art sensor technology;
• You will work with MATLAB and our DIRAC, SOURCE and COUPLE software packages to analyse measurement data, perform numerical calculations and gain insights;
• With your innovative ideas, you will participate in the further development of our software packages;
• You present your results and work closely with our customers.
